Processing Time
The processing time for complete Transit Visa applications lodged at our office in Nauru is 10 days. If your application does not contain all the required documents as per the checkist below, it is likely that processing will take longer.
Eligibility
To be granted a Transit (Subclass 771) Visa, you must intend a genuine transit of less than 72 hours in Australia. The documents you provide will help us to determine your legal eligibility for a visa. You must therefore submit all the documents in the checklist below applicable to you when you lodge your application. Provision of documents does not in any way guarantee the grant of a visa. There is no Visa Application Charge payable for a Transit Visa application.
